Have you had a massage before? If you have, then you already have first hand knowledge on what a massage can do for your mind and body. If you have never had a massage before with a Registered Massage Therapist, what are you waiting for?
Many people associate massage with relaxation or a trip to the spa but in fact, there are many health benefits to massage therapy. According to the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba (MTAM), massage therapy can:
- Treat low back pain
- Reduce cancer-related fatigue
- Treat Osteoarthritis of the knee
- Reduce post-operative pain
- Boost body's immune system
- Decrease symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome
- Lower blood pressure
- Reduce headache frequency
- Ease alcohol withdrawal symptoms
- Decrease pain in cancer patients
Massage therapy has a long list of benefits and can be used to treat infants, children, older adults, pregnant women, athletes, officer workers, and so on.
If you would like to treat yourself to a massage, you can now visit our Student Massage Therapy Clinic for an affordable rate!
