The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) Home Care program was created in 1974 to help people live independently at home for as long as possible, delaying the need for individuals to go into long-term care facilities. There is a growing demand for in-home health care services.
Home Care services offered in Winnipeg include:
- Personal Care
- Household Assistance
- Respite / Family Relief
- Counselling / Problem-Solving
- Occupational Therapy Assessment
- Physiotherapy Assessment
Many opportunities exist in Home Care for trained and certified Health Care Aides. Learn more about Home Care services and the opportunities that exist in this aspect of healthcare at our upcoming industry talk with the WRHA.
