The Manitoba Prosecution Services is responsible for the prosecution of criminal offences within Manitoba. These offences are identified in the provincial statutes, the Criminal Code of Canada and the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Crown attorneys are prosecutors and their role is to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
