Upcoming Massage Therapy Continuing Education Workshops in Winnipeg



The field of massage therapy is an ever evolving one as more and more research is conducted into the role massage therapy can play in treating various conditions and ailments.

One of the ways Massage Therapists can stay up-to-date on the developments of the field is by taking part in continuing professional development.

The Massage Therapy School at our Winnipeg campus will once again be offering Massage Therapy Continuing Education workshops this Fall. As members of the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba, all Registered Massage Therapists in Manitoba are encouraged to achieve 24 continuing competency credits every 2-year cycle to stay up to date.

UPCOMING WORKSHOPS

Experiential Anatomy Review: Skull & Hyoid Anatomy Refresher
14 Primary Credits
Dates: September 16th & 17th, 2017
Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (45-minute lunch break)
Location: Robertson College Winnipeg Campus
                265 Notre Dame Avenue
Fees: $350   [$275 for students and graduates of the Massage Therapy Diploma program ]

In this refresher workshop, we will be conducting a comprehensive review of all palpable bony landmarks and muscular structures in the skull and anterior neck. We will then review pulses and the circulatory structures, nerve paths, articulations and fascial compartments. [ More Information ]

Dates: November 25th & 26th, 2017
Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Location: Robertson College Winnipeg Campus
                265 Notre Dame Avenue
Fees: $350  [ $275 for students and graduates of the Massage Therapy Diploma program ]

In this refresher workshop, we will be conducting a comprehensive review of all palpable bony landmarks and muscular structures in the thorax. We will also review articulations and fascial compartments. [ More Information ]
