MOA's perform a variety of tasks to meet the daily demands of the clinic. Tasks can include registering patients when they arrive, maintaining patient files, taking payment, billing, or performing clinical procedures such as maintaining infection control, sanitation, etc.

WHERE do Medical Office Assistants work?

MOAs work in medical office settings including hospitals, medical clinics, chiropractic offices, dental clinics, massage therapy clinics as well as the claims department of insurance companies.
