Tara Ann Roe |
In her 34 years of life, Tara grew into a truly remarkable person. She was caring and kind; smart and funny, gentle and loving. Her family, including her husband Zach, and their sons, Louis and Lennon meant everything to her. She also loved to spend time with her large circle of friends. Tara loved dancing, skating, boating, hiking, modeling and spending time in nature. Tara had a very rewarding career as a Teacher’s Assistant working with Autistic children. She was a compassionate person with a kind heart who always wanted to help others. In her free time, she volunteered for school activities including hockey and lacrosse.
Tara was always looking to learn more and was interested in continuing to pursue her education. The Tara Roe Memorial Scholarship was created to:
- Honor the memory of Tara Ann Roe
- Reward academic and overall excellence in the Community Support Worker (CSW) Program at Robertson College Calgary
- Give back to the communities of Calgary and surrounding area
