The National Pharmacy Technician Bridging Education Program™ has been developed by the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) to assist individuals already working in the role of pharmacy technician to upgrade their skills to align with changes in the scope of practice without returning to school to complete a full-time program. The NAPRA Bridging Program courses are now available at Robertson College. All classes are held at 265 Notre Dame Avenue and are based on minimum enrollment requirements.
Professional Practice for Pharmacy Technician Bridging Program
Dates: Thursdays | Sept 22 - Dec 15, 2016
Time: 6:00 - 9:00 pm
Fee: $399 [includes all textbooks / supply fees]
Product Preparation for Pharmacy Technician Bridging
Dates: Saturdays | Oct 1 - Dec 10, 2016
Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Fee: $499 [includes all textbooks / supply fees]
Depending on the length of time worked in the role of pharmacy technician and the practice setting in which you have worked, you may be able to demonstrate the competencies necessary to challenge the Prior Learning Assessment Recognition (PLAR) exam. The exam is available for:
- Management of Drug Distribution Systems
- Product Preparation
Registration can be completed online or in-person at 265 Notre Dame Avenue. Payment is due 2 weeks prior to start date in order to reserve your seat.
